If you are using Accutane, YOU CANNOT WAX. You must also wait at least 6 months once you have stopped taking Accutane before you can be waxed.
We DO NOT recommend for the first 24 to 48 hours after being waxed; exercising, swimming, tanning, or anything that may cause irritation to your skin due to the fact your skin is more sensitive at this time.
Do not apply deodorants, lotions, or perfumes to newly waxed areas.
Waxing may result in trauma and/or reactions (including but not limited to: redness, skin lifting, scabbing, bruising or pimples) may occur during or after treatment.
To prevent ingrown hairs we recommend starting to exfoliate 3 days after your waxing service and then exfoliating every other day. Speak with your esthetician about exfoliating products.
Please do not trim your hair. The longer the better.
Wear sunblock after waxing on areas that may be affected by the sun.
Please do not sun-tan 2 days before waxing or 2 days after waxing. We will not be able to provide any services if you have any sort of a sunburn. Wear sunblock after waxing on areas that may be affected by the sun.
