*Open skin and/ or wounds
*Topical Cortisone
*Received a Chemical Peel or HydraFacial or Facial or any professional skincare treatments in the past 7 days
*Received laser resurfacing in the past 30 days
*Please consult your Dermatologist if you are taking any medications or using any topical cream that contains these
medications. Adapalene, Alustra, Avage, Avita, Differin, Isotretinoin, Renova, Tazarac, Tazarotene, Tretinoin.
*For prescribed creams like Retin-A or Differin, we advise that you stop use 7 days prior to your wax reservation and to not resume use until 7 days after your wax service
*Antibiotic use of any kind (Topical or Oral) in the past 2 weeks
*Do not use any Alpha Hydroxy Acids (Lactic, Glycolic) or Beta Hydroxy Acid (Salicylic) or Benzoyl Peroxide 5 days before & after
After Care for Waxing :
*Keep the area clean
*Avoid excessive sweating, friction or anything that can cause irritation for 48 hours
*No exfoliation for 48 hours after
*No sunbathing, swimming, exercise, tanning beds, working out for 48 hours after
*Wear loose clothing so that it does not rub against the treated area, tight clothing can cause irritation
*No steam room/saunas or any heat treatment for 48 hours after
*Avoid hot bath or hot showers for 48 hours after
*Do not touch or scratch the area after
*No make up except mineral for 48 hours after
*No perfume or perfumed lotions/self tanning products or deodorants for 48 hours after
Follow the exfoliating steps your Esthetician provided you with to prevent ingrown hairs.

*Melanoma or lesions suspected of malignancy
*Active sunburn or peeling

*Eczema, Dermatitis or Psoriasis in the treatment area

*Botox and/ or Fillers in the past 14 days

Aftercare for HydraFacial:
*Avoid direct sun exposure and use a minimum of SPF 30 sunscreen everyday.

Aftercare for Peels:
Avoid:
Direct sun exposure and wear sunscreen daily for 2 weeks post peel.
Exercise for 24-72 hours post peel, depending on the strength of treatment.
Steam & hot water.
Waxing and the use depilatories for 7 days post peel.
Injections wait two weeks post peel.
Laser treatments & microdermabrasion for 4 weeks post peel.
Swimming & sauna use for at least 7 days post peel.
Do not:
Vigorously rub the skin
Don't use any type of retinol or prescription retinoids for minimum of 7 days. if you are peeling wait until all peeling has stopped before doing any kind of exfoliating.
Use a mechanical scrub or chemical exfoliates for minimum of 7 days. If you are peeling wait until all peeling has stopped before doing any kind of exfoliating.
Pick at any flaking or sloughing, as it may cause scarring.
